Planning for the 24^th International Seaweed Symposium is underway for February 2023. We are planning a hybrid conference with face-to-face and incorporating online delivery. We anticipate the 2023 Symposium reaching a significantly broader audience than past symposia, in terms of both attendance and geographical reach. As such we see 2023 as being a new and positive direction for the ISS .

Having an online component to the International Seaweed Symposium allows us to incorporate more branding and acknowledgement for our Symposium partners. The packages below have been adapted to accommodate the mix between face to face components and online.

Invitation

The 2023 International Seaweed Symposium (ISS) Committee has great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the symposium as a sponsor and/or exhibitor. The symposium will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart from Sunday 19 to Friday 24 February 2023.

The mission of the International Seaweed Association (ISA) is to promote applied phycology on a global basis, and to stimulate interactions among researchers, industrialists and government representatives in all relevant institutions, organisations and industries and in all countries.

The symposium app can deliver your brand direct to iOS and Android smart devices and for those delegates with blackberry or windows enabled devices, a web app will be available. The app will be the delegate’s go-to source for information on the symposium including the session program, social program, updates, session room plans, speaker, sponsor and exhibitor profiles. Delegates can use the App to schedule their sessions, make notes, rate presentations and connect and communicate with other attendees through Twitter, Facebook, an activity photos and electronic business cards.
